Easy as Pie Bow Tie!
Today's pattern is super fast and easy! It would make a great addition to a costume for Halloween, if your kid is going as the 11th Doctor, Willy Wonka, etc.... So why not give it a go! Grab a J hook and your favorite yarn and lets go! GERONIMO!!!
chain about 50-60 (depending how wide you want your bow to be.)
DC into2nd from hook... When you reach the end of the row do NOT connect, but ch1 and turn
R2: HDC into every stitch ch1 and turn.
R3: DC every stitch, ch1 and turn.
Continue with rows 2 & 3 until you reach the desired height.
Using a tapestry needle, whip stitch the two sides together!
Depending on how tight you want your definition in your bow, chain anywhere from 5-7. SC 2 rows.
Neck band: Measure neck and chain a little less than that measurement.Sc 3 rows! Get some velcro, a button, or another fastening notion and sew that sucker on there!
Now take your middle section and put it under your bow, put the center of the neckband on top of the bow. Whipstitch the two ends of the middle section together!
And there ya have it! A super easy bow tie! Make yours in your favorite color!
