Basic Ribbed Skully

There's a chill in the air that screams out "Fall is here! Knit faster, Winter is coming!" Okay maybe it doesn't say that exactly, but still... knit faster! Knit all the things!!! Here's a pattern for a basic ribbed skully, perfect for beginner knitters. Just pop in a movie and by the end of it you'll have most of this project done! So lets get busy! What you'll need: -1 skein of your choice of yarn... I used Red Heart Super Saver in Paddy Green -Size 8 Straight knitting needles -Tapestry needle Cast on 100 stitches! Row 1: k2, p2, k2, p2... you get the picture... repeat until the end of the row Row 2: p2, k2, p2, k2....... Repeat these two rows until you reach 11''. Now we'll start shaping the top: Row 1: *k2tog, p2tog.* Rep to last 2 stitches. Green (S)Leaves Mug Cozy Pattern

Hello Loverlies! I've been teaching myself to knit for a little bit over a year now. I've been using the "I Taught Myself Knitting" book from Boye, less than creative title I know but they're pretty great at explaining the concepts. Well I've finally worked up the nerve to try cables...  to my surprise it's SUPER EASY! I wanted to test out the cable lesson, but wanted to actually be able to make something out of it (the lesson called for test swatches, ain't nobody got time fo dat!)... so I slightly modified it and made a mug cozy out of it! And because the detail looks like leaves... and it's green... well I couldn't resist calling it Green (S)Leaves. Haha! Get it? Green Leaves, Green Sleeves... coffee sleeve.. badada!
