Peanut Butter Blossoms

It's Halloween and we all know what that means! All the terrifying ghosts and goblins will be out tonight in search of  CAAAAAAAAAAAANDY! Well here is a recipe that's sure to delight all the little terrors on the block. It's Hershey Kiss Cookies, melt their terrible hearts with kisses from Heaven... well Pennsylvania, but anywhoo. What you'll need: 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. peanut butter 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt Hersheys Kisses, 1 for each cookie Obviously a cookie sheet might prove useful in the making of these tasty treats! Now we start the baking: -Pre-Heat oven to 375°F. -Cream together butter, both sugars and peanut butter. Add 1 egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. -Form in walnut size balls. Roll in white sugar and place them on a cookie sheet. -Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Press Hershey Kiss into each cookie when fresh out of the oven. Makes about 2

MINI Crochet Witches Hat

Hello All! I know this is late, but here is the tutorial that I was going to post for our marvelous make something Monday this week. It is rather fitting seeing as today is Halloween! So lets get 'hookin' on this simple project that will have you wanting to make mooooore! Boo! What You'll Need: Scrap yarn in whatever color you wish--- Black is ideal, but not mandatory. Have some fun with it, maybe add some yarn in a contrasting color to give your little hat that extra pop of chic! Size J crochet hook Lets get hookin: -Form a "magic ring" if you don't know what that is then there are several tutorials on youtube that can show you how.  HERE  is a very good one that you can use for helpfulness! - After you've formed your magic ring, crochet a few rounds (3) be sure that the top of your hat is pointed, and slightly bend it in whatever direction you wish. -Keep crocheting down until you reach your desired length. -To help it keep its shape, tur

Easy Dozits!

Welcome to The Treasure Trove! Today is Tuesday, and we all know what that means! Tasty Tasty Tuesday is upon us. Today I'm going to give you a recipe that was given to me by a dear friend. Shout out to my buddy Stephanie! THANK YOU!!!!! So I suppose you're wondering why these things are called Easy Dozits, am I right? Well my friends it's because THEY'RE SO EASY TO MAKE.... So easy a caveman could do it! Wait they did! Actually no, but you'll be wishing you'd had heard of these little peanut butter balls all your life once you've tasted this deeeeeliciousness! Without further adoo, I give you.... (drumroll please) EASY DOZITS!!!! What you'll need: 1/4 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs 1/4 Cup Sugar 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg Mix these ingredients together and add the following: 2/3 Cup Peanut Butter 1/2 Cup Corn Syrup Mix well and form into small balls. Add more Peanut Butter and Corn Syrup as needed. Stick 'em in the fridge for 2 hours..

How to make a cute bow!

Hello and welcome to The Treasure Trove first edition of "Make Something Monday"!  It's fall and that means time to break out the hats and scarves! I always love to wear my knitted or crochet hats and tie ribbons or maybe even put a cute knitted bow on it just to add some extra flair. This lightning fast project also makes a really cute hair accessory! Things you will need: Size 9 Straight Knitting Needles Some extra bulky yarn in whatever color tickles your fancy Tapestry needle Some scrap yarn in a  coordinating color to stitch your bow together! Let's get started: Cast on 10 stitches Row 1: Knit every stitch R2: Knit R3: K1, K2tog to last stitch, K1 R4 &5: Repeat R3 R6: Knit R7: Knit R8: K3tog, you should only have one live stitch at this point.Knit into this stitch. It's now okay to remove your project from the needles. You should have something similar to this photo!---- You will need to repeat this process to make a matching
