What You'll Need:
Scrap yarn in whatever color you wish--- Black is ideal, but not mandatory. Have some fun with it, maybe add some yarn in a contrasting color to give your little hat that extra pop of chic!
Size J crochet hook
Lets get hookin:
-Form a "magic ring" if you don't know what that is then there are several tutorials on youtube that can show you how. HERE is a very good one that you can use for helpfulness!
- After you've formed your magic ring, crochet a few rounds (3) be sure that the top of your hat is pointed, and slightly bend it in whatever direction you wish.
-Keep crocheting down until you reach your desired length.
-To help it keep its shape, turn your project inside out... You'll see the lines of stitches.
-Then point the top again, bend to side, and flip one side of the brim of the hat.
- If you want to add a contrast of color, now is the time to do so. Crochet a rim of single crochets around the brim. You determine how thin or thick you want the contrasting color to be.
SHAZAM!!!!! THERE IT IS! Your very own witchy creation for Halloween!
Happy Crafting! As always, I'd love to see your creations. You can post them and let me know how they turned out! :)
