A Touch of Blue and A WIP Fit for a Princess (Or a Witch, depending on who you ask...)
Hello Everyone!
My recent projects have kept me quite busy, to the point of often forgetting to update everyone on the latest endeavors. So it's remedy time!
First up there's this lovely little necklace that I found from Creative Yarn. It's quite basic and as long as you know how to chain and SC you can make this necklace! Just grab your favorite yarn and get hooking, I used Red Heart Super Saver in Aran. Cotton would be dreamy though! The flower part is completely up to you, as the pattern doesn't include one. I used a curlicue pattern from Ravelry. It was super easy and turned out great! I added a small pearl for some extra detail and tada!

Next on the WIP is this gorgeous Fairy Tale Poncho from Tamara Kelly over at Moogly. (Another craft blog that I adore, btw... Seriously check it out!) This project has been on the queue for a while and I have no idea why I just now started it. It looks a little intimidating at first glance, but really it's just SC and DC and decreases... you make 4 large rectangles and sew them together with a mattress stitch. EASY!!! It reminds me a little of The Cochran Witches from "Heir of Fire" by Sarah J. Mass.. which is probably one of the reasons I've been so drawn to it. Then of course there's the Rose Red obsession... I've actually named this project Rosenrot Umhang, which loosely translated from the German is Rose Red Cape.
Then there's a mystery project that's Top Secret and I shall not blog about for fear that my boyfriend will read about it and thus spoil the surprise. But... If you're my friend on Ravelry it's really no secret to you anyway... that's all I'm sayin'.
Anyway your homework is to check out moogly! HERE'S the pattern for her Fairy Tale Poncho! Check it out and see if you can keep from swooning!
Happy Crafting!
